Ceremonial Cacao
Every element of this packaging was designed with deep intention, honouring the ritual of ceremonial cacao and its connection to nature. For the photoshoot, I was given full freedom to translate this vision into imagery.
I created the moodboard and art direction, focusing on the elegance and minimalism of the design, while including the warmth and intrigue to reflect the product’s sensorial qualities. Through light, texture, and carefully considered setups, the photographs highlight the refined details—the engraved bamboo box, the textured paper sleeves, the copper foil—transforming them into images that feel both sophisticated and inviting.
This collaboration with Giada Tamborrino Studio and Speciaaldrukkerij Douma for When Nature Calls was a chance to celebrate how intentional design and thoughtful photography together can tell a story of care, connection, and ritual.
